About Me

Hello, I’m Shihan an innovator and engineer passionate about blending engineering, creativity, and innovation to design meaningful, impactful solutions. I’m a 19-year-old sophomore at California State University, Chico, pursuing a Bachelor’s in Computer Engineeringwith a strong focus on Electronics, Software Engineering, Robotics, Robotics-Related Mechanical Systems, and Information Security.

My academic and professional interests lie in Robotics, Embedded Systems exploring how hardware, software, and mechanical design converge to create intelligent, resilient, and efficient systems. I’m particularly focused on applying security principles to embedded systems, ensuring safety and reliability at the hardware level. In parallel, I’m deeply fascinated by High-Performance Computing (HPC) and GPU architecture, studying how to design efficient, scalable, and energy-optimized computing systems capable of powering next-generation AI and robotics applications.

Originally from Sri Lanka, I moved to the United States at 18 to pursue my lifelong passion for robots and computers, a decision that continues to inspire me to build, experiment, and innovate every day.

My path has been shaped by both curiosity and recognition: I was honored as Sri Lanka’s youngest and most outstanding innovator (2021) and represented my country on global stages including the World Robotics Championship and Global Teen Hero.

Beyond development, I’m deeply passionate about education and mentorship. As a robotics tutor and club leader, I guide aspiring engineers and students, helping them explore emerging technologies and unlock their creative potential.
